Mornings
Breakfast, slowly
Bread still warm, fruit from the garden, eggs from up the lane, and coffee for as long as you want it. Served on the terrace from eight, or brought to your room if the morning calls for it.
Once a week
The long table
On Thursdays the whole house eats together at a single long table under the pines. The kitchen cooks whatever the day landed, the wine is local, and the evening runs as late as the conversation.
