About
A house built for rest,
by people who needed it.
Solene began as a family’s own escape from too much of everything. We kept what mattered — light, space, good food, the sea — and quietly opened the doors.

The house from the dunes

How it began
An escape, then a welcome
We found the house half-buried in the dunes in 2012 and spent a year putting the light back into it. What began as somewhere to disappear became somewhere to share — carefully, and never too full.
The people
A small team who live here
Everyone who works at Solene lives on this coast. They know which beach is quiet on a Tuesday, where the good bread is, and when to leave you entirely alone. That local, unhurried care is the whole point.
